Deep sense
Acrylic on canvas, 50x70 cm. 2020

This painting is dedicated to the issue of narcissistic personality disorder. A person does not accept himself and experiences a deep sense of shame when communicating with people. This feeling is unconscious, hidden, and does not manifest itself externally. Anger, resentment or sadness may appear outwardly, but behind them lies constant background confidence that you are not complete, not worthy, much worse than everyone else, and no matter what you do, it cannot be changed, because your very essence is flawed. The tentacles in the painting symbolize the girls’s thoughts about her radical inner ugliness. And indeed, some of the viewers will find her disgusting, but for others she is rare and unusual beautiful.
